Manager's comments:
Charles is one of the new intake of players for the 2013/14 season for our U9 Sunday team.
He is a real team player and has seamlessly slotted into our squad, both on and off the pitch.
Charles's grand dad played for the great Johnville side of the forties which went seven years unbeaten in the league and produced some fine players for the national senior team.
All the coaching staff have been hugely impressed with Charles's contribution to the club and we look forward to helping him have a successful career at Belvedere and beyond.

Manager's Comment: Billy is a graduate of our very successful Junior Academy. Having commenced his soccer education under the tutelage of our Academy coaches, he was drafted into the Academy's inaugural U8 DDSL development squad for the 2011/12 season. He has proven to be an eager student of the game, keenly listening to his coaches and taking something away from every training session .

A player with a low center of gravity, Billy possesses many of the traits of the modern day 'play maker' including, natural balance, a quick brain and an eye for a goal. He is also a very clean striker of the ball. However, Billy's most important attribute at this age group,is his attitude . He plays every game with a smile on his face. His first full season seen him pick up the 'Player of the Tournament' award at the Lourdes Blitz. The old 'saying', 'The apple doesn't fall far from the tree' was never more apt, as Billy's grandad, Paddy Munroe, was also a top class player who plied his trade with the St. Patrick's Athletic team of the seventies in the League of Ireland.

Mum, Laura and Dad, Alan are very proud of their young prodigy as are all here at Belvedere FC.
